Josh Smalley
Josh is a Chemist by trade with a penchant for baking. His showstopping bakes and attention to detail led him to the final of series 14 of The Great British Bake Off.
Gayle Price of Firebat Glass has worked closely with Josh on several projects, including a Chemistry inspired cake tray for one of his pieces on The Great British Bake Off, as well as a number of decorative and practical pieces for Josh’s Science Kitchen at The University of Leicester - a pioneering endeavour to explore the way we perceive both cooking and science, through a fusion of gastronomic artistry and scientific exploration.
